Entrance Guide to The Portrait Restaurant
Entrance A
For daytime visitors, you can access The Portrait Restaurant through the main entrances of the National Portrait Gallery, referred to as Entrance A. This entrance is available during The National Portrait Gallery’s official opening hours, allowing guests to enjoy our seasonal menu while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of the day.
Opening Hours for Entrance A:
- Sunday – Thursday: 10:30 – 17:30
- Friday – Saturday: 10:30 – 21:00
Entrance B
If you’re dining with us in the evening after the Gallery is closed, please use Entrance B located on Orange Street. This entrance is specifically for late-night diners and ensures that you can still enjoy our exceptional cuisine even when the main Gallery entrances are no longer accessible.
Opening Hours for Entrance B:
- Sunday – Thursday: from 17:45 onwards
- Friday – Saturday: from 21:15 onwards
