In celebration of Marilyn Monroe’s centenary, the National Portrait Gallery presents Marilyn Monroe: A Portrait — on view from 4 June to 6 September 2026.

The Portrait Restaurant invites you to the fourth floor to mark the occasion with a celebration of Marilyn’s during image and the striking language of pop-art, in collaboration with Piper-Heidsieck Champagne.

About the Exhibition

Marilyn Monroe: A Portrait marks what would have been her 100th birthday, bringing together works by Andy Warhol, Cecil Beaton, Richard Avedon and Eve Arnold — among over 20 photographers and artists — to explore the woman behind the image, from her earliest modelling work as Norma Jeane to her final photographs on the beach at Santa Monica in 1962. The exhibition runs at the National Portrait Gallery from 4 June to 6 September 2026.
