In celebration of the National Portrait Gallery’s upcoming exhibition on the iconic Cecil Beaton, launching on 9th October, inspired by the tastes of Cecil Beaton, Chef Richard Corrigan presents a thoughtfully crafted set menu celebrating his favourite dishes. This exclusive Cecil Beaton Exhibition Dining experience pays homage to his style and love for timeless British flavours.
As Chef Corrigan shares, “Cecil Beaton had an eye for beauty in the everyday and I wanted this menu to do the same. It’s straight-up, honest cooking: a smoked haddock and leek pie for his love of English classics, Jerusalem artichokes and roasted roots for that garden touch he adored, and a steamed apple pudding with Calvados custard, inspired by his own Apple Purée recipe and love or British dining. It’s food with character, just like him.”
Guests can also enjoy a signature cocktail taken directly from Cecil Beaton’s Cocktail Book, rounding off a truly immersive dining experience. This exclusive set menu inspired by Cecil Beaton offers guests the chance to connect art, taste, and heritage in one unforgettable moment.
This exclusive menu will be available throughout the exhibition period, from 9th October 2025 to 14th February 2026.
